Big Plans coming down the line.

Hello fellow group members. It's been a while since I have had a chance to be on deviant art; College sucks up a lot of time. After all this time I still can't belive how much this group has continued to grow. Though I feel that I need to start checking up regularly to make sure it continues to run smoothly and continue to prosper.

So some few house keeping things are:

1. See if people are still having a hard time submitting to the "People" or "People2" folder. I can't remember if I have fixed it or not. So if there is still a problem with submitting to these or any other folders please let me know.

2. In regards to people who have accidentally submitted colored work, don't worry. Due to the high volume of works I would need to parse through to remove them any that are currently in there will not be removed. However in the coming week I am going to be more strict on removing art that does not fit the color/shade criteria. I will see if I can implement a way for people to remove art they have accidentally submitted.

3. Since this group has become a mass hub, I feel like it would be really awesome if we ran more competitions and votes for gallery features. I will blog about coming details for it. One idea I have is to run a competition for a new group logo. The one I made years ago worked, but it needs a serious face lift.

4. I am going to follow up on appointing group admins to help monitor the group. I still have some notes to send back out to people from the last time I asked. I had trouble figuring out a way to give people more privileges.

All in all, I am really love how this group has continued to grow, and look forward to seeing it continue to evolve.

OK NOW THAT IS OUT OF THE WAY.... I have a special favor to ask some of you. My management class was asked to make a survey for our purposed web app project. I need a few more people who are art inclined to do the survey. If you would like to help please message me back through the group notes, from this blog and I will send you a link. It is anonymous, quick, and I made it pretty humorous to take. So drop me a message if you want. I will issue you out links on a first come, first serve basis. So don't delay!
